Sea strip and beach
Along the sea strip the park is practically born again every day.
Continuously new dunes arise that are blown against the sea strip by the wind and at some places ‘walk’ land inwards through a groove. The beach is inviting to stroll barefoot or take a refreshing dip.
Walk to the beach
The 'blue' walking route walks you all the way through the National Park. From the visitors centre at the east, you pass dune lakes and other elements of the dune landscape. At the end, you are rewarded with a wide view on the beach.
